The Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision is an institute for media culture; an inspiring, creative and accessible meeting place for both private individuals and professionals. The institute’s collection is used as a media museum, a knowledge institute and an educational partner. Sound and Vision preserves a broad, ever growing media collection and provides access to over 70% of the Dutch audio-visual heritage–including more than 1 million hours of sound and vision material, 2.4 million pictures and 20,000 objects from media history.
