The Meertens Institute.

The Meertens Institute is a research institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), which studies the diversity of language and culture in the Netherlands. The focus is on contemporary research into factors that play a role in determining social identities in the Dutch society. In 80 years, the Meertens Institute has acquired more than 700 collections consisting of (digital) research data, digitized material, archival collections, printed material, handwritten questionnaires, maps and pictures.
